Dear friends:

There may be no greater feeling in life than helping someone else. In good times and bad, service to others is important.

In January, members of Leadership Evansville’s June 2008 class hosted an informal meeting with community members to discuss mentoring. Nearly 100 people gathered to share their experiences, their concerns, their ideas and what they had to offer. A tremendous sense of synergy and cooperation filled the air.

This community conversation on mentoring was a hit, and Leadership Evansville would like to keep the momentum going.

With that in mind, Leadership Evansville would like to host another session on community mentoring. This time, we’ll meet in the Browning Room at the Central Library on April 6, 2009. The meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m., with drinks and snacks provided.

We encourage you to bring someone who has benefited from your organization’s work. Additionally, if there is someone you think would benefit from experiencing this conversation, please invite them. Everyone’s input is important.

Hey everyone.  Welcome to the LE class of June 2008 “Community Mentoring Discussion Board.”

This blog was created to serve as a centralized communication hub for individuals and/or organizations to discuss various topics related to Mentoring.  Please feel free to share your ideas, struggles, succusses, etc.  Your experiences could help others grow.
